Soul II Sole was founded in 2023 by Herschel KG in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Herschel's dance journey began in 2018 when he took his first ballroom dance lessons. Captivated by the art form, he soon joined the Purple Charlotte Steppers Club, led by Master Instructor Demond Carter, where he honed his skills under the guidance of expert instructors. Inspired by the enthusiasm of family and friends who wanted to learn ballroom dancing but couldn't travel to Charlotte for classes, Herschel made it his mission to become an instructor himself. He aimed to bring the beauty and excitement of ballroom dancing closer to home in Rock Hill. This passion for sharing dance, combined with Herschel's love for technology, gave birth to Soul II Sole – an innovative app designed to make dance accessible to everyone, everywhere.
